Mother's Day

This year we had a pretty low key Mother's Day. Jesse made me waffles for breakfast, we went to church, and then we went over to my mom's house for a dinner. I tried to get a Mother picture with my little monkeys, but well, they were being Monkeys. The first thing was Nate seeing a bee in the bush, and it went down hill from there for him.

Olivia and Graham were a little cooperative though.

More of Nate sulking.

Finally a bit of a smile.

With my mother.

For dinner we had kabobs. We made some steak and some chicken ones, and Matt grilled them up for us. They were delicious. Paired with a salad and some fruit it was a lovely dinner. But then I made these dessert kabobs. They had a brownie bite, a pineapple,a chocolate strawberry, and then this cheesecake truffle. They were heavenly. YUM! (But tracking starts up again today, I have been very delinquent with my food tracking for the past several weeks.)

So thanks to my family for helping me to have a great mother's Day. I love being a mom, and I wouldn't trade my little monkeys for anything!
