Family Pictures

My good friend Ashley came up from the Eastern Shore in November to take some family pictures for us. She also did Olivia's baby pictures back when she was tiny. Since we have 3 kids, the oldest being 6, it's difficult to get everyone looking at the camera and smiling in one picture. And then of course, I find that I'm so worried about getting kids to look at the camera, that I forget to not look silly, so there is always that problem. :) But here are a few of my favorites. Which one is your favorite? Which one should I put on my wall? I just like Olivia's face in this one, it's who she is!

I think that Graham was tickling me in this picture.

The kids

Unfortunately, we really weren't thinking about getting good shots of just the kids, and Olivia was not in the most cooperative mood that day, so this is just about the only one that we have of all 3 kids alone. At this point, if Olivia did not have her paci, she was crying. But we have some good ones of just the boys. (And their dad)

Are you looking closely for Nate's freckles? They're one of my favorite things about him.

Graham

Graham's hair was a little bit off during the pictures, but that's OK, he's cute enough to make up for it!

Olivia

There are just too many of Olivia that I'm in love with!

Sad

It makes me sad to think that Graham does not remember Grandpa. It makes me sad that Olivia never gets to spend time with him. It makes me sad that the only things that Nate remembers about Grandpa was that he was "really old" and that the last time that he saw him (the day that he passed away) he was coughing a lot because he was really sick. It makes me sad because my dad was a really neat person, who loved his grandchildren so much, and it's hard for them to understand that. It's moments like these that the knowledge of eternal families gives me hope. One day, we get to see him again, and they will finally understand all of the things that I want for them to know about this great man.

A few random photos from the past few weeks. The cats are so cute together. I'll be super sad if we have to get rid of Hurley because he won't stop peeing all over my house!
