It's a bird, it's a plane!

We often see Superman around our house. Olivia was less than thrilled about it though.

A Whole lotta nothin!

We have done practically nothing this year. Nate goes to school, Graham, Olivia and I just do our thing. It's too cold to do anything else! So here are some random photos from the past month or so.
First, Olivia is getting more and more mobile every day. She can now move herself all over the living room with a combination of rolling, and pulling herself forward with her arms. The pulling herself forward is something that just started this week. So this brings a new level of baby proofing that I will need to do, and every day I think with dread about another thing that she'll be getting into within the next few weeks. She is particularly drawn to the DVD, receiver, etc in the entertainment center. nuts. Just a random of Nate, Graham took this one.
We have diaper pics of Nate and Graham, but not so many of Olivia, so in the spirit of fairness, here are some naked baby pictures. :)
(Belly button!)

This is a frequent event at our house, one or the other of the boys is constantly hugging, tugging, wrestling, etc Olivia. She's going to be one tough cookie!

Graham especially loves to lie his head on her lap!
This is an old picture, but you can see one little tooth poking through. She now has both bottom teeth, and they're pretty much fully in. She likes to chew food now, so that's an exciting little development!

In other non kid related items. This week I signed up for a bunch of races. I am signed up for the Frederick Half Marathon in May, the Baltimore 10 miler in June, and at the request of my running partner, the Baltimore Marathon in October. The thought of doing 20 mile training runs is not something I'm looking forward to, but maybe, just maybe since I lost 20 lbs training for my last half marathon, I'll lose another 20 training for this one, and then since the marathon is twice as far I expect to lose another 40 lbs training for that. Of course, if I lose 60 lbs in the next 6 months I'll probably be in trouble, but well, the fact that I'll be running a marathon probably will put me in trouble anyway! So stay posted for training updates. So far things are going really really well!

Very cute

Her shirt asks "How cute am I?" The answer is very cute!

The Dress

Does this dress look familiar? Yup, it's the same one she wore way back when after she was blessed. She was about 2 1/2 months old in this picture. Now, she's 8 1/2 in the top picture. She has grown a little bit, just not too much. That's OK, I'm glad that she can still wear it, (and so is Grandma after all the work she put into it!)

Dinner guests

The other day we had some very important dinner guests. Too bad Nate and Graham were nowhere to be found!!!

Snow Day

After a disappointing December, we finally got a little snow in January. And by little, I really do mean little. So far the most we've gotten at a time is about 5 inches. But it was enough to go out and go sledding with the new sleds that Santa brought this year. This time when we went out, every time I pointed the camera at Olivia, she would cheese it up. Sometimes Jesse participated.
Sometimes he supervised.

Olivia was not super thrilled about her getup though.

This was the first time we went out. There was only about an inch or two, but it was enough to sled on the little hill near our house.

Christmas in a nutshell

Our Christmas celebration started on Christmas Eve at Grammy and Grandad's house. The biggest hit? The superhero costumes that Graham got. Nate also loved his Batcave.

Olivia even got to open some presents!
Nate and Graham also loved the umbrellas that they got. Here is Nate ready to go on Grandad's motorcycle.

The Superheros (With cousin Meckenzie.)

Next came Christmas morning at our house. It didn't take Graham to get into his superman costume. Aunt Cammi was able to come up to see the boys open their presents. This year Nate just wanted to open and open and open. He was not interested in taking turns, or anything else. We breezed through all of the presents in about a half an hour!

After we opened our presents, and had some orange and nutella sweet rolls (not together) as well as a sausage/hashbrown/egg caserole, we headed over to Grandma's house. There were a few more presents for the boys there, and a nice uncle Matt to help Nate put together his legos.

But mom was the clear winner here. She was well taken care of this year.

So now we have finally covered Christmas. Not too much else has been going on with us. I think that mostly gets us caught up again!
